Ménage à trois in English! – One for the Money two for the Show

New York City in the late 1970’s and early 80’s was an exciting time that gave birth to Punk, Hip Hop and New Wave. These counter cultures ran parallel to the Neo-Expressionist style of painting seen in artists like Basquiat, Clemente and the Pop Art of Warhol. The art scene thrived in this time of ‘anything goes’ creativity and prospered in the adjacent Bull Market. This workshop will explore the overlaps between economics, art and music through a tour of the exhibition followed by a collaborative project responding to our current financial crisis and related themes in art and music.
Mit dem Künstler und native speaker Anthony DiPaola aus New York, der dort am Fashion Institute of Technology und an der Parsons School of Design als Dozent tätig war.

Themenspezifische Führung mit anschließendem praktischen Arbeiten.
Dauer: 120 Minuten
Teilnahmebeitrag: 4 €/2 € (mit Bonnausweis) pro Person inkl. Material und Eintritt in die Ausstellung
