The library
is open to the public and may be used by everyone interested in its
scope.

| When may I visit the library? |

The library’s
opening hours are as following: Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to
5 p.m. (except on holidays)

| Is the library’s catalogue
available on the internet? |

The library’s
holdings are searchable via the library catalogue. The library catalogue is updated on a daily basis.

| May I borrow from the library? |

 |
It is possible
to borrow up to five items from the library for a period of two weeks.
Reference works, loose issues and bounded years of of periodicals are excluded from
loan.

| Does the library take part
in interlibrary loan? |

No. The libray
does not take part in interlibrary loan. Direct inquiries from other
libraries may be answered positively in special cases.

| May I put books/materials
on reserve? |
 |
 |
If you wish
to work with the same books over a period of several days you may
put this material on reserve at your desk. For further information
on that topic please ask the library’s staff-team.

| How may I use the library’s
audiovisual and electronic media? |

Apart from its
collection of books and periodicals the library owns also audiovisual
and electronic media which is supported by the library’s equipment
or - in most cases - may as well be borrowed:
Audiotapes
Videotapes
CDs
CD-ROMs
DVDs
Internet

| May I photocopy library materials? |
 |
 |
A self-service
black-and-white photocopier is available in the library. Materials
in poor or fragile condition as well as rare books may not be copied.
Photocopies may be made for private use, scholarship or research.
Please make sure that restrictions of the copyright law are kept.
