On 8 April 2005, the forum at the Art and Exhibition Hall in cooperation with the German Music Council will be starting a new musical format that will provide a stage for so-called “new music.” The aim of this series is to find a broader public for a music form which has existed for around 100 years and yet is still surrounded by the foggy wafts of the esoteric, the hermetic, and the unapproachable. To this end, we have taken a modern music ensemble and added the figure of the curious moderator, who will forge bridges between the performance and the public, respond to questions and explain the background.
