Workshops

Registration is binding and can be cancelled free of charge up to four working days before the date. As we engage external specialist staff for your group, a cancellation fee of €25 will be charged for cancellations made at a later date. Cancellations will be confirmed in writing by the Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle der Bundesrepublik Deutschland GmbH, Bonn. In the event of non-appearance at the workshop date (goodwill max. 30 minutes), the full amount of the agreed workshop fee must be paid. Delays will be charged to the group. In the event of force majeure, no cancellation fees will be charged.

Payment: Payment must be made in cash, by credit card or EC card at the cash desk 15 minutes before the start of the workshop during regular opening hours, preferably closed to the group. On request, payment can also be made by invoice if booked in advance.

Visitor information: Cameras, bags, backpacks and umbrellas must be left at the cloakroom or in the lockers. Teachers must fulfil their duty of supervision in accordance with the special requirements for the safety of the exhibits. Please also observe the house rules at the cloakroom, ticket office, information desk and the instructions of our supervisory staff.

The protection and hygiene concept of the Bundeskunsthalle applies.

We offer freely bookable guided tours (also in foreign languages) and workshops for the various age groups. These are marked in our programme booklet and on the website with GS (primary school), Sek 1 (secondary level 1) and Sek 2 (secondary level 2).

Discover the exhibition of your choice with us and then create your own personal work of art together with an artist in one of our workshop rooms using a wide variety of materials. There are special offers for each exhibition. You can find the current workshop programme on the website for the respective exhibition or in the events calendar.

The participation fee includes admission to the exhibition, material costs and a themed guided tour.

After receipt of the invoice amount, you will immediately receive the voucher. Of course, you can also purchase this service directly at the cash desk and receive the voucher immediately. The Bundeskunsthalle recognises the use of digital media and digital technology as an important component of contemporary art education. The aim is to familiarise participants in the education programmes with the artistic design possibilities of digital image production. At the same time, participants are introduced to the emancipated and confident use of social media platforms on which digital image productions can be published. The educational programmes contribute to the ability to analyse, reflect and make judgements regarding image aesthetics, economic strategies and legal regulations on social media platforms. Topics covered include data protection, copyright and the right to one's own image. With its educational programmes, the Bundeskunsthalle promotes an artistic, creative, critical and socially responsible approach to digital media and social media platforms.
